Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
Kolkata BJP Member of Parliament Locket Chatterjee made scathing remarks against the Trinamool Congress, accusing them of being a "circus party" with disorderly Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs).
Chatterjee's comments were directed at Trinamool MLA Jeeban Krishna Saha, who was allegedly involved in throwing mobile phones and jumping over walls. The BJP MP from Hooghly constituency stated that this behavior demonstrated that the Trinamool Congress had not become a political party, but rather a chaotic circus.
While speaking to reporters, Chatterjee criticized the ruling party in West Bengal, stating that "a lot remains to be seen" in terms of their governance.
She also accused the Trinamool Congress of failing to address important issues faced by the people of the state.
